He developed the ‘ENA’ tool, which streamlines G99 applications and schematics, enhancing project efficiency. He has built a strong pipeline of renewable energy projects across solar PV, battery storage, wind energy, and EV charging, while working closely with major funders and national infrastructure partners.

A renewable energy specialist with 5+ years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) design. He leads the BESS design team, focusing on innovation and collaboration. His background in pre-feasibility studies enables him to create solutions that align with technical and planning requirements. He also keeps the team updated on the latest BESS technologies by engaging with manufacturers and incorporating advancements into projects.

6+ years of experience in grid and transmission, gained from roles at National Grid ET and ESO. He managed connections for a large portfolio of developer applications, including onshore/offshore generation and demand systems. Brett is a Deloitte-trained Finance Director with 20+ years’ experience in infrastructure and renewables. He helped grow Atrato Onsite Energy (ROOF) from IPO to £250m, leading to its sale to Brookfield/RAIM Apollo. He’s led financings and operations for 3 GW of projects, with prior roles at John Laing and Vercity, and brings deep expertise in FP&A, M&A, debt structuring, and investor reporting.

Dan Sadler boasts a wealth of customer-facing experience, with over 20 years in similar roles. Currently he heads up the land acquisition department at Bluestone energy, an important part of our business.

Darren is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Registered Auditor who runs a successful public accountancy practice. With over 35 years of experience Darren has a vast knowledge in all areas of accountancy, audit, taxation and general financial matters applying to a wide range of clients of all types and sizes. Darren has been working alongside Bluestone Energy since it’s incorporation.

Kudsi plays a pivotal role in ensuring Bluestone Energy’s digital resilience and operational efficiency.

Seasoned energy executive with 15+ years in solar, wind (onshore/offshore), and battery storage. Previously led Innova’s transition to an operational IPP, delivering 100MW+ and managing a 1.67GW pipeline incl. 1.5GW Transmission BESS. Former Ørsted senior leader, key in Hornsea 1 (1.2GW) delivery and Hornsea 3 (2.85GW) CfD win.

Fun Fact: Failed stand-up comedian, university-level swimming team member and privileged to have built the then world’s largest renewables project, twice (back to back!), which led to a BBC documentary.

Kenny began his career in practice, gaining broad exposure to a wide range of sectors, developing a strong foundation in financial reporting and audit before transitioning into fund accounting for private equity clients. He subsequently joined an investment advisor company working on their publicly listed funds focused on real estate and renewable energy. He now works closely with the CFO at Bluestone Energy to lead the finance function.
